Manicure
The word manicure means 'care of the hands', and the purpose of this treatment
is to improve the appearance of the nails by cleansing, nourishing and
beautifying them. A manicure involves shaping and moisturising the nails, care
of the cuticles, a relaxing arm and hand massage and enamelling or buffing the
nails.

Pedicure
The feet take a lot of strain and stress every day, and although they are not on
show like the hands, they benefit greatly a pedicure treatment. Pedicures are
more popular in the summer months because feet are on display. However, feet
need to be looked after all year round as most of the time they are enclosed in
shoes, socks and tights often becoming hot and swollen. The treatment includes
the same techniques as a manicure and includes a soothing foot bath.
